  • Advocacy Leadership Academy: Summer 2025 Application

The Advocacy Leadership Academy is designed for beginners in the policy space who are looking to gain the knowledge and skills to become advocacy leaders in their communities and are enthusiastic about community organizing and power-building. This eight-week academy takes place every Tuesday from May 13th to July 1st , with sessions from 5 - 7 p.m. MST via Zoom.  The weekly collaborative learning sessions will be interactive and paired with action items, case studies, and other hands-on advocacy opportunities. Participants will receive a certificate and a $100 stipend after completion, if they attend at least six (6) of the eight (8) sessions.  Please note the required time commitment before applying.  The Summer 2025 cohort will be limited to 12 participants to encourage intentional leadership development and an interactive learning environment. Participants will be selected based on how the academy’s offerings align with participants goals and policy/advocacy aspirations. Those not selected for the first cohort will be invited to reapply for future ones, and those who are selected may be invited as mentors for future cohorts.  Submit a completed interest form by Friday, April 18, at 5 p.m. MST to be considered.
