Equity contracts are SPT3, the Non-union weekly pay rate is $350. Amphibian Stage is dedicated to diversity and inclusion as a core value, and as such we strongly encourage actors of all races, ethnicities, and gender identities to submit.

  • Roles Available

  • Diane (Lead) | Female Identifying | 40's-60's

The narrator of the piece. Begins as the most personable and composed inhabitant of the house, but turns into the most ruthless. An author, complex, smart, generally a rule-follower, would choose science over religion, lonely, slightly judgmental, insomniac, has a grown daughter, full of pain, fear, and doubt, but covers it well.
  • Nat (Lead) | Male Identifying | 40's-50's

Even in the desperate attempt to survive and the suffocating atmosphere of the house, he retains a certain charisma and sex appeal. A coward at times and an adventurer at other times, has an "ignorance is bliss" philosophy, lives on the verge of personal collapse.
  • Julia (Lead) | Female Identifying | Early 20's

Free-spirited, rule-breaker, smoker, energetic, outgoing, a force to be reckoned with, either wise beyond her years or a really good bullshitter. In order to survive, she will do anything: lie, kill, or deceive. Unknowingly or not, she drives a wedge between Nat and Diane.
  • Tierney (Supporting) | Male Identifying | 50's-70's

A neighboring farmer. Blue-collar type, threatening appearance, lonely, tries to convince Diane to leave with him. One great scene.
