Salamanca Arts Centre (SAC) is currently seeking applications for PRIVATE FUNCTIONS* for inclusion in the 2027 Calendars (for both the Long Gallery AND the Founders Room.

*Private Functions include Weddings, Engagement Parties, Birthday Parties, Parties in general, Balls, Dinners, Conferences, and any other non-public non-arts events. 

Please note that it is very unlikely that the Long Gallery or the Founders Room will be available during major festival periods (such as Dark Mofo - June / Festival of Voices - first half of July etc.)

The Long Gallery :
As the Long Gallery operates primarily as a gallery space we can only accommodate a limited amount of Private Functions in the Long Gallery each year.

The Founders Room :
As the Founders Room is a multi-purpose function space, there are no limitations on the ammount of Private Functions that can be held in the Founders Room each year.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE CONCERNING LIFT REPLACEMENT

SAC has been informed by KONE, the company selected to replace SAC's current lift by the Department of Natural Resourses and the Environment (NRE), that there has been a delay in the replacement program. The works are now scheduled to commence:

FEBRUARY 2027 to be completed around: MAY 2027

There will be no operational lift for the duration of the works. The works will compromise all access facilities to upper floors and the movement of heavy goods. Tenants and venue hirers are requested where possible to plan for the suspension of lift services by timetabling the movement of goods between floors to before or after the planned interruption.

Tenants and venue hirers also please note that during the lift replacement operations, the Courtyard will have restricted access on account of the plant and movement of equipment and for the security of plant and equipment. Access may vary during the lift replacement process.

SAC will undertake to keep tenants and hirers informed of the replacement process by passing on all relevant information updates from NRE and KONE.

For the LONG GALLERY
Hire Periods for Private Functions in the Long Gallery are a maximum of 4 days. 
For Saturday events, this Hire Period usually spans Friday to Monday.

Hire Periods for Private Functions in the Founders Room are a maximum of 3 days. 
For Saturday events, this Hire Period usually spans Friday to Sunday.
