Gympie Eightball Association Inc. Player Code of Conduct
- Gympie 8 Ball Association conducts all play under the current WEPF International Rules. By signing this form, you are obligated to play under those rules. (A copy of these rules can be found in the Teams Fixtures folder and are also available on request at Singles Fixtures).
- All players must conduct themselves “In the spirit of the game” as per our Constitution, including those of our governing bodies with whom GEBA is affiliated, and in line with WEPF International Rules.
- Players are reminded that extreme foul language, bad behaviour, and unsportsmanlike incidences/baulking which would bring the game into disrepute will not be tolerated during Singles Fixtures, Team Fixtures, Representative Duties or any other 8 Ball event.
- All breakages will be the responsibility of the player/s involved. If no effort has been made to rectify the situation, then the player/s will be stood down until further notice by the Committee. This includes damages caused by member’s guests or minors in attendance of a Gympie Eightball endorsed comp night or event
- If a player feels the “Player Code of Conduct” has been breached, they can table their concerns at the next Gympie 8 Ball Association meeting and the Committee will deal with the matter accordingly. All grievances must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the general meeting at which they are to be addressed. If a player feels the issue needs to be handled urgently, they can contact a committee member to discuss.
- It is the player’s obligation to know and understand QEBF, International Rules and Gympie 8 Ball Association’s Constitution.
- No forms of Bluetooth items for music etc are to be worn during any GEBA events apart from medical assisted hearing devices.
