🌿 🐝 Bee Friendly Gardening Jackpot Plant Giveaway Application 🐝 🌿
Thank you for your interest in the Bee Friendly Gardening (BFG) Jackpot Plant Giveaway, made possible through our partnership with My Home Park (MHP). For every 4 native plants purchased through the MHP website, MHP will generously donate 1 plant to the jackpot—meaning the final prize amount will depend on the total plant sales.
🌻 Important Details:
Fall Planting: To ensure the best chance of survival and growth, all plants will be intended for fall planting. Please apply only if you are prepared to plant them promptly in a ready-to-go site by September 2025.
The final jackpot includes 140 plants. We encourage applicants to view this as a supplement to their existing or planned native plant project, rather than relying on it entirely.
Priority for Community-Focused Projects: While all BFG members are welcome to apply, we will prioritize projects with a community focus, such as school gardens, public pollinator spaces, or neighborhood initiatives.
🌼 By applying, you are committing to:
✅ Planting the native plants in a prepared site during the fall.
✅ Maintaining the site to ensure long term support for local pollinators.
✅ Registering the completed habitat as a Bee Friendly Garden with Pollinator Partnership and installing a BFG sign (provided to you at no cost) on site.
✅ Sharing a short update and photos on your planting success, which may be featured in a future BFG newsletter or social post.
Plants are to be used to create or enhance permanent native habitat for pollinators and other beneficial insects. The jackpot will be tailored to include plants native to your geographic area.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: June 6, 2025
