The Significance of Feet Washing
Feet washing is a deeply spiritual act of humility, purification, and love. It symbolizes:
Cleansing – A renewal of our hearts and minds as we prepare for the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Servanthood – Following Yahusha’s example of leading through service and love.
Unity and Forgiveness – Releasing past hurts and walking in true fellowship with one another.
Preparation – Aligning ourselves spiritually for the Passover season, reflecting on our journey of faith.
John 13:1, 4-5
"Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Yahusha knew that His hour had come… He rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded."
John 13:14
"If I then, your Master and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet."
Let us unite as mishpacha (family) to demonstrate the heart of Yah—serving one another in love. Don’t miss this powerful gathering!
