CONTEST RULES
Celebrate Mom - May 2025

1. The promoter is: Ellsworth Jewelers, whose registered office is at 126 Downeast Highway, Ellsworth, Maine.

2. Employees of Ellsworth Jewelers, their family members, or anyone connected in any way with the contest or helping to set up the contest shall not be permitted to enter the contest.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.

4. Contest entry details can be viewed on Facebook HERE and on Ellsworth Jewelers’ website www.ellsworthjewelers.com.  All entries must be submitted on the official entry form available for downloading on Ellsworth Jewelers’ website or by filling out our Jotform and uploading your image online.

Entries may be dropped off at Ellsworth Jewelers during regular business hours OR submitted via U.S. Postal Service mail to:  Ellsworth Jewelers, PO Box 446, Ellsworth, ME  04605, ATTN.:  CELEBRATE MOM CONTEST.

5. Closing date for entry will be April 25, 2025, 4:00 p.m. After this date, no further entries to the contest will be permitted.

6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

7. The rules of the contest and the prize for the winner and finalists are as follows:
Prizes:
Winning Entry - Custom designed, hand fabricated gold and silver pendant.
Ten Distinguished Finalists – Sterling silver mother’s charm.
Rules:
Entrants must be enrolled in grades Pre-K-12 in schools in Hancock, Washington, or Penobscot Counties in Maine, and must submit on an official entry form a hand-drawn picture of a pendant they would like to present to their mother on Mother’s Day 2025.

8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this contest.

10. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. Prizes cannot be exchanged. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

11. Winner will be chosen from all entries received and verified by the promoter and or its agents, based on outstanding creative design as determined by consensus of the staff at Ellsworth Jewelers. All drawings submitted as entries will be displayed at Ellsworth Jewelers from beginning April 9 through May 9, 2025 and may be picked up in person after prizes are awarded on May 10, 2025.*

12. The ten finalists’ names and entries will be posted on Facebook on May 2, 2025. The winner’s name and winning entry will be posted on Facebook on May 3, 2025, and will be featured in the Ellsworth American on May 8, 2025. The winning design created by Ellsworth Jewelers’ goldsmith will be on display in the store from May 8-10, 2025.*

13. All prizes will be awarded at Ellsworth Jewelers, 126 Downeast Highway, Ellsworth, Maine, with proper identification, on May 10, 2025 after noon.*

14. The promoter’s decision in respect to all matters regarding the contest will be final and there will be no further correspondence.

15. By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

16. The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by United States law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Maine.

17. The winner and his/her parent agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current laws of the State of Maine and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

18. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Ellsworth Jewelers, PO Box 446, Ellsworth, Maine 04605.

19. Entry into the contest will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Ellsworth Jewelers and not to any other party. The information you provide will be used for contest purposes only.
