Important Information

Date: Sunday 11th May 2025

Meeting point: Horton-in-Ribblesdale, BD24 0HE (lots of parking, £4 for the day, very busy at weekends).

Meeting time: 7:00am

Registration Fee: £25

Fundraising Target: £150

Terrain : There are some steeper and rockier sections and lots of uphill.

Duration: Approximately 12 hours with prayer break, lunch, and stops

Distance: 38.6 km or 24 miles, 5000 ft (1600 metres) of vertical ascent.

Guidance Hub Hifz Project

We’re taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge not just for the adventure, but to support Guidance Hub’s Hifz and Qur'an Projects, helping young students on their journey of memorizing the Qur'an.

All participants are required to help by fund-raising £150 to contribute to this noble cause. Every effort, big or small, will support children to memorise the Quran and strengthen their connection with the Book of Allah.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We’ve created these terms and conditions for the safety of everyone taking part in the trek. All trekkers should read these carefully before submitting the form.

Trekkers’ health
Trekking is a physical activity and can be strenuous. Trekkers should be in good health and any trekker who has a doubt about their health or fitness, or who has a medical condition or injury that could be affected by exercise (particularly a heart condition), should consult their doctor before participating. No-one should participate in a trek under the influence of alcohol or drugs (complying with the Road Traffic Act 1988).

Photography
The organiser of the trek may take photographs or videos of the event for publicity purposes. By registering to participate in this event, you agree that photographic images of you, containing you, may be used by the organiser, sponsors or promoters of the event for publicity purposes.
Photographs and video may be taken by participants for their own personal record of a event. Those wishing to take photos are requested to be open and honest about this. If any participant or organiser objects, then all other participants should be requested not to take any photos of the event.
Photographs and video may also be taken by individuals not directly connected to the event, for whatever reason, and participants should be aware that the organiser has no control over this.

Risk and liability
While the organiser of this event will do all in their reasonable control to make the event as safe as possible, but all participants take part at their own risk.
None of the organisers, sponsors or promoters of the event accept liability for any loss or damaged caused where:
a) there is breach of a contractual obligation or legal duty of care owed to you;
b) such loss or damage is not reasonably foreseeable at the time of breach
c) an injury is sustained or property damaged in the course of the ride or as a result of taking part in the trek;
or (d) any changes are made to the route or conduct of the event for safety or operational reasons or as otherwise required for the safe and proper carrying out of the event; except for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter for which it would be illegal or unlawful for them to exclude or attempt to exclude their liability.

Cancellation
The organiser may cancel the event at their discretion. We will endeavour to give as much notice as possible of any cancellations. The organiser accepts no liability for any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.

Use of information
Guidance Hub will use the information you give us for administration and research purposes in the delivery of this event. This may include contacting you by email or SMS with reminders or information about your ride.

Registration Fee
Upon submission of this form all hikers agree to pay a £25 registration fee. Registration fee is non-refundable.
