FREE YOUTH ART CLASSES-ART LIFE: April 16th - May 28th, 2025

Time: Wednesdays: 5-7PM & Sundays 9-11AM

Location: Art O Mat (501 W. 7th Street Wilmington, DE 19801)

Program Overview:

The ART LIFE Youth Program is an after-school and weekend initiative designed for middle and high school students, fostering creativity while promoting positive self-expression and community engagement. Led by renowned artist and instructor Kenneth Hunt (The Art Monster), the program focuses on graffiti art, art history, art theory (including hand-eye coordination), and the business of art.

Participants will develop artistic skills, gain insight into the professional art world, and learn how to build an online gallery to showcase their work. The program serves as a platform for youth to address personal and social issues through art while cultivating a sense of purpose, entrepreneurship, and financial opportunity. ART LIFE culminates in a final art showcase, celebrating the students' creative growth and achievements.
