1.    The parade route is on 2nd Street from Jefferson to Patterson, then turning north on Patterson to Riverscape and then going through the festival, exiting at St Clair and First St. The staging area is on Second Street between Jefferson Street and St Clair Street. The day of the parade, all groups should be at the staging area at 11:30 am. If you arrive later, you risk being removed from the parade.
La ruta del desfile es por 2nd Street desde Jefferson hasta Patterson, luego gira hacia el norte por Patterson hasta Riverscape y luego pasa por el festival saliendo en St Clair y First St. El área de preparación está en Second Street entre Jefferson Street y St Clair Street. El día del desfile, todos los grupos deberán estar en el área de preparación a las 11:30 am. Si llegas más tarde, corres el riesgo de que te retiren del desfile.
 
2.    All groups should carry a sign or banner identifying your group, organization, business, or the country you are representing.
Todos los grupos deben llevar un cartel o pancarta que identifique su grupo, organización, empresa o el país que representa.
 
3.    All vehicles must be in good working condition and must comply with the Motor Vehicle Laws of the State of Ohio. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
Todos los vehículos deben estar en buenas condiciones de funcionamiento y deben cumplir con las Leyes de vehículos motorizados del estado de Ohio. Todos los conductores deben tener una licencia de conducir válida.
 
4.    Music that is played by participants must be appropriate and in good taste.
La música que interpreten los participantes deberá ser adecuada y de buen gusto.

5.    Participant attire and/or costumes must be appropriate and in good taste. If at all possible, participants should be dressed in cultural costumes or other attire that represents your country, group, organization or business.
La vestimenta y/o vestuario de los participantes deberá ser apropiado y de buen gusto. Si es posible, los participantes deben vestir trajes culturales u otro atuendo que represente a su país, grupo, organización o negocio.
 
6.    Participants may not distribute political propaganda during the parade.
Los participantes no podrán distribuir propaganda política durante el desfile.
 
7.    Participants may not consume and/or distribute alcohol and/or illegal drugs during the parade.
Los participantes no podrán consumir y/o distribuir alcohol y/o drogas ilegales durante el desfile.
 
8.    Participants may not engage in any activity that may represent a safety hazard to the participants or spectators, ex. Revving motorcycle engines or throwing items into the crowd.
Los participantes no podrán participar en ninguna actividad que pueda representar un peligro para la seguridad de los participantes o espectadores, ej. Acelerar motores de motocicletas o arrojar objetos a la multitud.
 
I certify that I have read and understand the Dayton Hispanic Heritage Parade Participant Rules pertaining to the participation in the parade. I understand that the parade will run RAIN or SHINE and agree to abide by all parade rules. I understand that failure to comply with the rules may result in not being allowed to participate in future parades. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Puerto Rican American and Caribbean Organization (PACO) for any injuries or damages sustained by anyone in my group as a result of participating in the Parade. I further acknowledge and agree that PACO assumes no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal belongings.

Certifico que he leído y entiendo las Reglas para Participantes del Desfile de la Herencia Hispana de Dayton relacionadas con la participación en el desfile. Entiendo que el desfile se realizará con LLUVIA o BRILLO y acepto cumplir con todas las reglas del desfile. Entiendo que el incumplimiento de las reglas puede resultar en que no se me permita participar en futuros desfiles. Por la presente acepto indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad a la Organización Puertorriqueña Americana y Caribeña (PACO) por cualquier lesión o daño sufrido por cualquier persona de mi grupo como resultado de participar en el Desfile. Además, reconozco y acepto que PACO no asume ninguna responsabilidad por la pérdida o daño de pertenencias personales.
