We are committed to supporting up and coming arts and community initiatives, charges may vary depending on the initiative. We'll endeavor to confirm your booking by email within 48 hours. NOISE INTERFERENCE
The BFT Papatoetoe Gym, located on the second floor of our building, provide scheduled classes for their members, where there is some noise from the classes that may impact your booking.

Typical class times are as follows and are 1 hour classes:

Monday to Thursday
4.45am, 5.45am, 9.30am, 12.30pm, 5.30pm & 6.30pm.

Friday
6pm

Saturdays
6am and 7.15am

Sundays
No Classes (seasonal)

PACK IN AND PACK OUT TIMES:
When requesting a quote please be mindful of pack-in and pack-out times for your event and add the total timing in for this accordingly.

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS:
There is a 50% deposit requirement to secure your booking and there is an $80 cancellation fee for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the start of the booking.

EQUIPMENT DAMAGE:
In the event that client equipment is damaged, the responsible party shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repairs. The charges incurred will be commensurate with the extent of damage and the necessary restoration or replacement of the item. This provision ensures that any harm caused to the equipment during such usage is appropriately addressed.

For all events that are from 5pm onwards will incur costs for staff or security to be on the premises to open / close.

For all weekend events where alcohol will be consumed qualified security is a requirement.

If you are serving alcohol, it is the hirers responsibility to seek a Auckland Council Liquor License, you will need to provide to Taro Patch Creative a copy of the permit 1 week prior to your booking.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Terms and Conditions for Venue Hire at The Taro Patch Creative

1. Agreement to Terms

By hiring any space at The Taro Patch Creative ("the Venue"), the Hirer agrees to comply with these terms and conditions.

2. Payment and Booking

A deposit is required to confirm the booking. Full payment must be made prior to the event date.
Any additional costs incurred during the event (e.g., security, staffing, damages) must be settled within seven (7) days post-event.

3. Liability for Damages

The Hirer is liable for any damage caused to the Venue, including but not limited to fixtures, equipment, furniture, and flooring.
Special attention is drawn to the polished concrete flooring in the upstairs studio; any damage to this must be repaired at the Hirer's expense.
The Hirer must report any damages immediately to the Venue management.

4. Permits and Compliance

The Hirer is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits for their event, including but not limited to council permits, liquor licenses, and food handling permits.
Proof of relevant permits must be provided upon request.
5. Security and Staffing

The Venue reserves the right to require qualified security guards at the Hirer’s expense, based on the nature of the event.
The Venue may also require additional on-site staff for event management, which will be charged to the Hirer.

6. Use of the Venue

The Hirer must use the Venue responsibly and ensure that all attendees comply with Venue policies.
Noise levels must comply with local regulations and must not disturb neighboring properties.
The Hirer is responsible for the proper disposal of waste generated during the event.

7. Indemnity

The Hirer indemnifies The Taro Patch Creative against any claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising from the Hirer's use of the Venue.

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the notice period provided.
The Venue reserves the right to cancel a booking if terms are not met or if the event poses a risk to the Venue or attendees.

9. General Provisions

The Venue reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
Failure to adhere to these terms may result in additional charges or refusal of future hire requests.
By proceeding with the booking, the Hirer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
