Drawing references that work best are of my own work, or a doodle you did, mood boards of the subject works well too (non tattoo). You can also send me images of the original object, subject, character, scene etc ✷
It is not helpful if you send me images of other people's tattoos unless you're trying to get a specific placement, texture, line quality etc and it's the only way you can explain it. I do not plagiarize/re-interpret other tattooers' work.
Example: You see a cool tattoo of a sword online that I did not do. Instead of taking a screenshot and sending it to me, look up "sword", and find one that speaks to you. You can also send me multiple and create a moodboard.
Example. You see a cool tattoo of a movie you like that I did not do. Instead of taking a screenshot of that tattoo, look up images from that movie, and make a mood board. You could even trust me to watch that movie and draw something for you.
