CCM Junior Strings (CJS) Audition Sign-Up  

Audition Dates: August 23 and 24, 2025

Audition Location: Loveland Intermediate School (757 S Lebanon Rd, Loveland, OH 45140).

Students will sign up for one 5-minute slot on either date, time-frames below:

• Saturday, August 23: 12:00 - 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday, August 24: 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

CCM Junior Strings (CJS) 2025-2026 Audition Requirements

The following information is for all students ages 10-13 auditioning for CCM Junior Strings.

Audition Requirements:

1. Scales: 2 octave Major Scales; up to 3 flats/sharps
2. Solo: Prepare a solo that demonstrates your abilities. Students in CJS must be able to shift to multiple positions, read rhythms and key signatures, play with a variety of bowings in multiple styles, demonstrate an advanced tone and do vibrato
3. Sightreading: students will be given a short sightreading selection that will include rhythms, key signatures, bowings and fingerings representative of our repertoire. To prepare for this, practice sightreading on your own.

After selecting an audition date/time, please click Next to proceed to the final page and submit this form to confirm your selection. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the audition date/time, so please make sure to save that email.
