Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the event. Full credit or partial refund ($5 refund fee) may be applied. Any credit or refund request after will not be accepted.

All children must be chaperoned by an adult. Entrance to the event will be through the school courtyard on 30th avenue at 29th street. Parents are expected to monitor their children while they are waiting for their games to begin. We suggest bringing books or quiet games to play, and encourage quiet discussion in the waiting area in between turns. Safety is paramount and students will be expected to sit quietly. There can be no loud games or running in the waiting area or school hallways.
I understand that Q300 chess tournaments are public events. I hereby grant full permission to Q300 and New York Chess Academy to use photographs, video- and/or audio-recordings of me, and/or my child participating in the tournament, taken during this event in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications. I understand that neither I, nor my child, is entitled to compensation for their appearance in such materials. I release and discharge both parties from all liability, losses, and damages for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, or any other claim arising out of or relating to the use of videotapes, recordings, and/or photographs.
