    Implied Consent to Participate in Research
  • Cracks in the Ivory Tower: Building Structures and 

    Strategies Within Student Activist Organizations


    Data collected from this confidential survey will be used for completion of a bachelor’s degree in Sociology at California State University East Bay. The information gathered will be used for research on student activism and campus organizing conditions. The survey questions will be about your experiences as an activist and the tactics of your organization. 


    You have been invited to participate because you are a student at a Northern California university and have experience with activism or political organizing on campus.


    You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. There is a risk that you might feel some discomfort in answering these questions, and you may stop participating at any time or refuse to answer any question. If you do not wish to participate, you may simply return the blank survey, with no penalty to yourself. If you do participate, submission of the survey indicates your consent to the above conditions. Please do not enter your name anywhere within this form. 


    The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
