2025 Northern Organizer Camp - Application
DUE JUNE 6TH, 2025. This application form is for organizers in rural and urban Alaskan communities to request participation of our upcoming Organizer Camp. The theme of this camp is ~Prepping the Cache - Coming together during climate adaptation.~ Please join Native Movement for an Organizer Camp which will focus on how we stay connected and support our communities through ongoing climate change. We will spend our time getting to know each other, learn about our home regions throughout the state, learn tangible organizer processes, and useful on-the-land skills. Our gathering will be happening at Howard Luke Gaalee’ya Spirit Camp , August 1-3. Please plan to arrive the day before and leave the day after. Howard Luke Gaalee’ya Spirit Camp is a boat ride away from Fairbanks. There will be limited access to cell service, electricity, and running water. There are no paved paths. There will be limited cabin space, which will be reserved for elders, pregnant people, or people with physical disabilities. Space for tent camping is available for all others. In this section, please tell us if this style of camping appeals to you. Please consider necessary accommodations you will need.
