The Dairy Wall of Fame Committee invites nominations for individuals who have made a significant contribution to promoting and supporting the dairy industry, the respective breed for which they are nominated, and Eastern States Exposition. Please review the following guidelines before submitting a nomination.
Nomination Process
- The nomination process begins in the spring and is managed by the Breed Committee (comprised of dairy breed representatives).
- Deadline for nominations: August 1
- Nominations must be submitted directly to this JotForm
- Each nomination form should be filled out to the fullest and should include the nominees:
- Background
- Contributions to the Dairy Industry, the Respective Breed, and Eastern States Exposition
- Reasons for Nomination
- Nominee Headshot
Nomination Criteria
The nominee must have made a significant contribution to promoting and/or engaging with the dairy industry, the respective breed for which they are nominated, and Eastern States Exposition.
Review Process
- The Breed Committee will review all nominations and comprise a final list of nominees.
- The committee will forward only those nominations that meet the established criteria.
- If a nomination does not meet the requirements, the committee may choose not to forward it.
- Nominees and their biographies will be publicly shared by August
Voting Process
- Voting will be conducted via Election Runner, opening for each breed at move-in and closing at the start of the respective show.
- Each unique ownership entity is entitled to one vote in the judging process. Ownership entities are determined based on how animals are officially entered during the current year.
