No matter what we look like or where we come from, all of us work hard for our families to have what they need to live thriving lives. But as our work has made Washington prosper, our state leaders are proposing deep cuts to programs we need as they face a budget shortfall.
We know there is enough for everyone - we just need legislators to be brave enough to ensure corporations and billionaires pay their fair share in taxes. Our state should be investing MORE in our communities, not less.
On Tuesday, March 25 at 4:00PM, both House & Senate fiscal committees will hold a public hearing on the state budget. Join us for a rally in Olympia at 3:00PM at the sundial to make our voices heard and ensure that legislators fund our communities.
