The purpose of this award is to honor individuals who have contributed in an outstanding manner to the development of health education research. Nominees must be SCAAHE members in good standing. Selection of award winners will be based on the following:
1) qualifications in terms of education, training, and experience;
2) scholarly activity in publications (within the last 5 years);
3) presentations at the state, regional, and national level (within the last 5 years); and
4) state, regional, and national impact of nominee’s research activities (within the last 5 years).
Nominations are to include written evidence below demonstrating how the nominee meets the criteria for the award.
Complete information demonstrating how the applicant meets the criteria for the award must be provided to the SCAAHE Awards Committee with the submission of the nomination form. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Submission deadline is August 30th.
