Visitor Guidelines (please read through)
We respectfully ask all visitors to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a positive and respectful environment at Grace House:
- Cooperate with Staff: Please cooperate with the staff member on duty. She is responsible for the house, and your support is greatly appreciated.
- Leave Personal Belongings in Your Car: For security reasons, please leave purses, phones, and laptops locked in your car. The only exception is laptops needed for teaching purposes. Do not allow any resident access to the Internet, Facebook, or other social media sites, and please do not do this for them.
- Food Policy: Outside food may not be brought into Grace House for small group gatherings or parties without prior permission. No exceptions. Our residents have an abundance of quality food and many opportunities for culinary delights.
- Prohibited Substances: Do not bring any substances onto Grace House property, including prescription or illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or nicotine patches and gum.
- Medication Policy: Do not give any Grace House resident over-the-counter or prescription medication.
- Stay in Common Areas: Please remain in the common areas of the house. Visitors should not enter the residents' bedrooms.
- Gift Giving: Your generosity is always appreciated but never expected. If you would like to bring gifts for the residents, please consider small items for all 12 ladies. Acceptable items include: Nail polish, Chapstick, lipstick, eyeshadow, face powder, eyeliner, Socks, gloves, flip-flops, house shoes
Refillable water bottles, combs, brushes, hair bands, hair ties, or clips
Pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters, journals, spiral notebooks, file folders, sticky notes, bookmarks, small jewelry, sweatshirts, T-shirts, or other small items (with prior approval from a staff member)
