RELEASE OF LIABLITY

 This document constitutes an agreement between Wood River Community Association, herein after referred to as “Wood River” and the aforementioned member, I agree myself and all members of my household as well as any guests in attendance will adhere to all rules and guidelines put into place by Wood River Community Association.

 Wood River Community Association Sports Center Member herein after referred to as “member”, for the use of the Wood River Sports Center after normal operating hours; defined as all times when the Sports Center is not staffed or supervised by a Wood River Community Association on-duty Lifeguard.

 By execution of this agreement, Member acknowledges a desire to use the Wood River Sports Center after hours if key card is purchased. Member acknowledges that the use of the Wood River Sports Center after hours is done at his/her own risk and in consideration for said privilege the Member agrees to the following:

 1.  To indemnify Wood River for all liability resulting from said use.

2.  To use the key card assigned to the Member to enter the facility and/or tennis courts.

3.  To abide by all pool and tennis court rules and regulations as posted.

4.  To allow only family members registered on the Sports Center Membership Application form into the facility after hours.

5.  All children of registered members under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult member after hours.

6.  Members will pay a $25 key fee to Wood River Community Association for the use of the key card.

 Wood River shall not be liable or responsible for and shall be safe and held harmless by Member from and against any and all claims and damages of every kind, for injury to or death of any person or persons and for damage to or loss of property arising in all or in part from negligence of Wood River.

 This agreement shall continue until the end of the membership season for the year it is signed, as determined by Wood River management.  Memberships are not valid until proper payment and signed releases have been received and cleared.

 I have received and read ALL PAGES of the Release of Liability and agree to the terms and conditions outlined.

  THE MEMBER UNDERSTANDS THAT ANY MISUSE OF THE ABOVE OUTLINED PRIVILEGES MAY RESULT IN THE AUTOMATIC TERMINATION OF UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY CARD OR MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES WITHOUT NOTICE.

UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY CARD ACCESS

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

 ·         UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY CARD ACCESS IS NOT A PART OF THE SPORTS CENTER MEMBERSHIP.

 ·         IT IS AN OPTION THAT IS AVAILABLE TO SPORTS CENTER MEMBERS WHO SIGN A LIABLITY RELEASE, PAY A KEY CARD FEE AND WHO AGREE TO FOLLOW ALL RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS PLACED ON THE UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY CARD ACCESS.

 ·         UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY CARD ACCESS IS NOT AVAILABLE ON A 24/7 BASIS.

 ·         THE ACCESS IS LIMITED TO HOURS AND DAYS DETERMINED BY THE ASSOCIATION’S BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

 ·         2026 UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEYCARD ACCESS IS TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY ONLY FROM 6:00 AM UNTIL 1:00 PM ONLY. 

·          2026 POST SEASON KEY CARD ONLY HOURS WILL BE POSTED AT THE END OF THE SEASON.

 RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS:

 ·         ONLY THOSE ADULTS (OVER 18) WHO ARE LISTED ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION ARE PERMITTED TO USE YOUR KEY CARD.  YOUR KEY CARD CANNOT BE LENT TO, GIVEN TO, OR BORROWED BY ANYONE WHO IS NOT ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP. 

 ·         NO ONE ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MAY USE YOUR KEY CARD, LEND IT TO ANYONE, OR LET ANYONE BORROW THE KEY CARD.  THIS IS REGARDLESS OF THE AGE OF THE PERSON.

 ·         YOU MAY NOT BRING ANY GUESTS INTO THE SPORTS CENTER USING YOUR KEY CARD.  A GUEST IS ANYONE WHO IS NOT LISTED ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

 ·         UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY CARD ACCESS AND AFTER HOUR ACTIVITY IS MONITORED AND REVIEWED BY THE ASSOCIATION.

 ·         IF YOU ARE FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THESE RESTRICTIONS YOUR KEY CARD WILL BE DE-ACTIVATED AND UNGUARDED SPORTS CENTER KEY ACCESS WILL BE TERMINATED, WITHOUT NOTICE, FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2026 MEMBERSHIP PERIOD.

PLEASE NOTE:

- All posted pool rules must be followed at all times.

- Abusive or derogatory language or behavior toward guests or staff will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the facility.

- Wood River Community Association Sports Center maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any form of violence; violations may result in suspension or revocation of membership.

- All ice chests will be checked by staff upon entry. Glass and alcohol are strictly prohibited.

 

I confirm that I understand and accept all rules outlined above and will adhere to them at all times. I further understand that non-compliance may result in the revocation of my membership.
