• Mah Nishtanah:
Why Do Questions Matter So Much in Judaism?

    With Rabbi Micah Streiffer

    Thursday, April 10, 2025
    3pm Eastern / Noon Pacific
    One hour long

  • At the center of the Seder are a series of questions, starting with "Why is this night different from all other nights?" But questions are not only for Pesach; they are a central feature of Jewish life. In this class, we will explore why questions are so important in Judaism, and what we can learn from this for our own lives.

Rabbi Micah Streiffer is a teacher, writer, and lifelong student who is known for his engaging style in the classroom and his ability to make Jewish texts and ideas come to life. Micah is the Founder and Director of LAASOK, and hosts the popular "Seven Minute Torah” podcast. Ordained a rabbi at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (Cincinnati 2007), Micah served as a congregational rabbi for almost two decades prior to founding LAASOK. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Jewish Thought at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
