Who are we?
Founded in 2015, Ohel Moed is a peer-led, halachic egalitarian community under the Masorti umbrella. As part of reviewing our long-term location, we are trialling services in Finchley alongside our regular provision in Golders Green.
Whats this trial?
At a strategy day in 2024, we discussed committing to a more defined location. We created a Location Working Group who sent out a survey filled in by 40 people, both members and others. The results of the survey showed a centre of gravityis moving towards Finchley and we agreed to trial services in Finchley for 6 months, alongside our continued monthly shabbat morning service in Golders Green.
What will happen after?
This trial phase will run from March until August 2025. During this time, we are looking to collect regular, continuous feedback so that we can identify trends across the trial or respond to important points if necessary. As we end the trial, there will be a more detailed survey for you to give richer feedback and reflect on the experiment as a whole.
