Expression of Interest

To participate in the testing of Violet’s Virtual Care Platform
PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH

Teachers Health has joined with Violet to test a Virtual Care Platform, designed to help people talk about, plan for, and manage the last chapters of life.

Violet is designed to support two key groups: individuals in their final chapters of life and their family members and/or caregivers—whether they're actively caring for a loved one now, or preparing for this role in the future. We deliver practical guidance and emotional support when it matters most, helping to make this challenging life stage more dignified and less overwhelming for everyone involved.

Thank you for your interest in participating in this research and providing your feedback on Violet’s platform and the experience. Your insights will help us improve the usability and user experience of the platform.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING THIS RESEARCH?

After submitting this form, we'll review your application and quickly notify you if you're selected to participate in the project. Once approved, you be emailed a web link to access Violet’s platform

Please complete Module 1: Future Care and Wellbeing independently before the research phase concludes on 30 May 2025.

You can use the website platform on any internet-enabled device. We’ll ask you some short questions about your experience as you work through Module 1. All research participants will receive a free Violet account for a full 12 months, during which time you will have the opportunity to work through the other modules in the Violet Plan.

Taking part in this research is safe, but we talk about topics that might bring up feelings if you or someone close to you is going through this experience right now. Please think about whether this is the right time for you to participate.

By participating, you will:
- Learn helpful ways to talk about and plan for later life stages
- Help us improve our services for others facing similar situations
- Receive free access to work with a Violet Guide through Violet's Guided Support Programs
- Get a free Violet account for a full 12 months, allowing you to work through all other modules in the Violet Plan
Your privacy matters to us:
- Your use of the platform will be kept confidential
- You can use 'dummy' data throughout if you prefer
- You can request for your profile and data to be deleted at any time
- We may anonymise and combine your responses with others to share study results externally
