Scope of Role
The HR Senior Manager / Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the full spectrum of human resources functions, including:

In this capacity, the incumbent will drive strategic HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, compliance, and employee experience. S/he will contribute to the ongoing review, development, and implementation of HR strategies to support business growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, s/he will serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic and operational HR support to business functions where necessary.
Key Areas of Accountability
Strategic HR Business Partner
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Lead corporate culture enhancement and staff engagement initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on local labour ordinance, employment regulations, and best HR practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering sound judgment, clear communication, and effective problem-solving skills.
Human Resources Operations & Talent Development
- Oversee the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance, efficiency, and workforce excellence.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to deliver key HR strategies and operational objectives.
- Partner with department heads and line managers to address evolving business and recruitment needs.
- Conduct training needs analysis and develop talent development programs to support business growth.
- Continuously review compensation structures and performance management systems to attract and retain top talent.
- Design and implement effective staff training, leadership development, and team-building initiatives.
- Strengthen HR partnerships with organizations, universities, and the community to foster talent development and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Global HR Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with HR counterparts across Save the Children’s global network to drive alignment on key HR initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture by effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Ordinances, MPF schemes, and related labor regulations in Hong Kong.
Skills & Experience
- 12-15 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Proven ability to manage full-spectrum HR functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- A proactive team player with a results-driven mindset and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
