Credit Transfer Application Form

BTS/BeTrained recognises Qualifications issued by other RTOs or AQF authorised issuing organisations.

BTS/BeTrained will accept and provide credit to students for units of competency and/or modules (unless licensing or regulatory requirements prevent this) provided these are evidenced by Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) certification documentation issued by any other RTO or AQF authorised issuing organisation, or authenticated VET transcripts issued by the Registrar.

This form is used when a student wishes to apply for Credit Transfer. Before completing this form, students must:

• review the BTS Credit Transfer & Recognition of Prior Learning Policy, available on the BTS website.

• ensure they have certified copies of all required documentation (e.g. Academic Transcripts and/ or Statements of Attainment).

• confirm that the unit of competency already held is the valid and current version by checking the unit code on the National Register of VET at http://training.gov.au/

Certified Copies
A certified copy is a copy of an original document that has been verified to be a true copy by an authorised witness after they have sighted the original document. All certificates, testamurs, Academic Transcripts, Statements of Attainment, and other documents provided as part of your application must be certified copies.

Declaration

In submitting this Credit Transfer Application:

• I have read and understood BTS’s Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning Policy, located on the BTS’s website under the ‘Student Information’ page.

• I declare that the information and evidence provided is a genuine and accurate statement of my training and study history.

• I authorise BTS to contact any third parties (including RTOs stated in this form or the USI Registry) to verify the accuracy of the information provided.

• I acknowledge that BTS has the right to vary or reverse any decision regarding this application made if any information is found to be false or incomplete.
