  • Car Boot Sale Terms & Conditions

    Please note that spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

    Payments & Refunds

    To secure your place, please make a payment of £10 to:

    • Richard Wakefield Primary Academy PTA.
    • Sort Code: 30-91-47
    • Account Number: 02646048
    • Reference: Please use your full name.

    All payments are non-refundable. Unless the PTA deems it necessary to cancel the event, in this instance all fees paid will be refunded in full.

    Event Timings & Access

    • Access to the site will be via Burton Street from 9:00 AM. Once this site is full, access to the additional pitches on the carpark will be via Chatsworth Drive.
    • All vehicles and traders must be on-site by 9:45 AM, and set up by 10:00 AM.
    • The site gates will close at 9:50 AM, after which no further access will be permitted.
    • Late arrivals are not permitted and will forfiet their booking fee.
    • The event will run from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
    • No vehicle movement is allowed on-site between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
    • Once parked, all vehicle engines must be turned off.
    • All stalls must be packed up and off site by 3:00 PM.

    Stall Set-Up

    • No tables will be provided – please bring your own.
    • You must park as directed by event staff.
    • There will be no priority or preferential parking.
    • Stalls must be set up by 10:00 AM.
    • Stalls must be cleared away by 3:00 PM.

    Prohibited Items

    The following items are strictly prohibited from sale:

    • Food, alcohol, cigarettes, or vaping products.
    • Pornographic materials.
    • Counterfeit goods, including games and software.
    • Any form of weapon, including items such as kitchen knives.
    • Items that could incite racial, sexual, or religious hatred.
    • Or any other offensive materials.
    • Failure to comply may result in removal from the event, and in serious cases, reporting to the authorities.

    On-Site Conduct

    • No playing of car radios or audio systems.
    • No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on-site.
    • No dogs are allowed on-site.
    • Richard Wakefield C.E. Primary Academy, the PTA, or the Affinity Learning Partnership, will not accept any liability or responsibility for any transactions at the car boot sale.

    Donations & Waste Disposal

    • Unsold goods can be donated to the PTA. We welcome:
      • books
      • toys
      • games
      • school uniform
      • dressing up cotumes
      • new and unused toiletries
      • gift sets.
    • Other items may be placed in the Star Foundation container (by Burton Street entrance). This will further support the school to raise funds through recycling.
    • For all other waste, please take your items home.

    Weather Conditions & Cancellations

    • This is an outdoor event and will go ahead unless there is significant rain or high winds are forecast.
    • No refunds will be issued unless the event is officially cancelled by the PTA.
    • By booking a place, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
