🎓 Studio Policy Terms & ConditionsThank you for being part of the Joy Music Studios family! We're thrilled to offer scholarships that help make the gift of music more accessible. In order to continue providing these opportunities, we ask all scholarship families to read and agree to the following seasonal commitment policies:🌟 Scholarship Commitment: When you redeem a scholarship, you are securing a spot for an entire season of classes, our current scholarships will be redeemable for any student who stays enrolled through April 2026. Seasonal commitments are as follows (Fall: Sept–Dec, Spring: Jan–April, Summer: May–Aug). This ensures consistency for your student and fairness for other families hoping to join.Because classes are in motion once the season begins, scholarships are intended for students who will be committing to the season from beginning to end. Even if you are gone for most of it, the scholarship is the price of only 2 hours of classes. As long as a student averages coming at least this much they receive the classes they are paying for. The additional 8 hours every month are free. However, because classes close after open enrollment, new students cannot join mid season. So students are committing to remain in the program through the end of their season. If a student does not plan to retain their scholarship for a following season after their current season, they are required to give a 30 day written notice before the season ends so we can open the space to another student.If early cancellation is necessary, families are still responsible for the full seasonal tuition to honor the scholarship terms. You're welcome to continue attending the final classes of the season even if you need to step away afterward.Please send any class change requests or withdrawal notices in writing to info@joymusicstudios.com before the season ends.Thank you for understanding – these policies help us serve more families with excellence and integrity!*

🎶 Missed Classes & Make-Up PolicyOur regular tuition rate is $150/month for 2 hours of instruction. With your scholarship, you're paying only $147/month and receiving an additional 8 hours of FREE music instruction every month. Over the course of the year — a total scholarship value savings of $7,200!If you're unable to attend a few classes during a season, that’s okay — life happens! As long as your student continues with the program during other months, your scholarship remains active and your spot is secure. It is like enrolling in a gym class at a low rate at the new year. Even on months you don't make the classes, you stay enrolled because you want to keep this low rate you entered at. And if you exit your plan, you will have to re-enroll at full price and lose your low program entrance rate. We kindly ask families to stay enrolled during any short absences rather than cancelling, as this protects your scholarship rate and prevents losing your spot. Staying enrolled ensures the best value and keeps your student growing consistently in confidence, community, and creativity. If you choose to discontinue the program or forfeit your scholarship at any time, you may do so at the end of your season, by giving a 30 day notice of discontinuation to info@joymusicstudios.com. You will still be required to pay each monthly scholarship rate through the end of your current season, and then you will be unenrolled for the following season to open up your scholarship spot for a new student at open enrollment time.*

Forms of Payment: All students are required to have a credit card on file and be signed up for a monthly class plan. The card on file will be charged on the 1st of every month following after sign up month. Students are required to pay their monthly class price regardless of the time of month they sign up for as long as they are able to attend at least ONE class in the current month they enroll in, as this is the total cost of the monthly price, is the cost of only one day of classes. If there are additional days in that month of class, the student would have the opportunity to attend those for the additional free classes that month, otherwise, their free classes due to the scholarship will initiate the following month.*

PR Release, Hold Harmless Form This is giving permission for your student to be a part of recital videos, performances, and allowing their videos to be posted on studio websites and social media. I give permission to Joy Music Studios to photograph, record or video I myself or my child(ren) during the course of taking lessons to use the photos or video footage for the purpose of promotion on Joy Music Studios music pages, archiving and training.

By signing below I also hold Alecia Fiechter and Joy Music Studios LLC and it's endeavors and business harmless from ALL liability at any time, before, during or after lessons, whether they are a student or not. I release Alecia Fiechter and any of the Joy Music Studio representatives and teachers from all liability, costs, and damages that might occur during a participation in all events or activities. If emergency treatment for a student is necessary, I provide consent for Joy Music Studios to seek out emergency treatment if my emergency contact cannot be reached. I agree to accept financial responsibility for the costs relating to any emergency treatment given to myself and/or my child(ren).

Further I have read and agree to ALL policies in this form as long as I am participating in ANY lesson or activities with Joy Music Studios. This authority remains in effect as long as I myself and/or my child(ren) are taking lessons or involved in any special programs including recording sessions at Joy Music Studios.

If you have to miss a class due to ANY reason please call or text your teacher with Joy Music Studios within 24 hours of your scheduled class time to let us know. Forms of Payment: All students are required to have a credit card on file. This card will be charged on the 1st of each month for the chosen monthly payment plan regardless of holidays. If any credit card payments are returned there will be a $30.00 processing error fee added to that months lesson charges no exceptions.

______ My card will be charged through the end of my enrolled season, if I give a 30 day notice of discontinuation, my card will no longer be charged at the conclusion of my currently enrolled season. Student is invited to finish out their final classes through the end of their season they enrolled in, after their 30 day written notice has been sent to Joy Music Studios so they can finish out their season with their class. Otherwise they can conclude their attendance but will not be given a refund for the rest of their currently enrolled season and will be charged through the end of their enrolled season they committed for.
