  • Welcome to LOCnificent Fest 7.0! 

    Are you a loctician, natual hair care professional, or barber and want to showcase your creative talent? This is more than just vendor market and natural hair hair showcase—it’s a celebration of culture, community, and creativity. Our 100% indoor venue offers a two-level experience with music, performances, and vibes that center locs, natural hair, and Black excellence.

    DATE: Sunday, October 5, 2025

    TIME: 3pm – 10pm

    LOCATION: Atolye Venue & Bar, 236B 6th St, Brooklyn, NY

    Application deadline is Friday, September 12, 2025!

    Applicants will be contacted no later than Monday, September 15th to let them know if they have been selected. 

    Application fees range from at $100 - $200 and are due upon application approval and no later than Friday, September 19th. Fees are inclusive of all hair show participants including models, locticians, barbers, and assistants. Guests of participants must purchase a ticket to the event. 

    1. $100 - Locs and natural hair show only (2-5 models; each additional model is $20; 6 model maximum)
    2. $100 - Live hair styling demonstration only (4 model minimum)
    3. $100 - Hair styling station for attendees. This service should be free or be a nominal fee for the attendees ($15 fee maximum)
    4. $200 - Hair show + plus one 6 foot vendor table space. 

    *NOTE: There is a $50 discount when you sell five (5) general admission or two (2) VIP LOCnificent Fest 7.0 tickets by Wednesday, September 17th. 

     
    LOGISTICS: 

    • Vendor set-up will be at 1PM
    • Hair show is at 5:30PM (subject to change).
    • All hair show participants, including locticians, natural hair care professionals, and models, must be on site by 1:30PM SHARP for a walk through, no exceptions.
    • If you are a hair show participant, your hair model styles must be ready by the start of the event at 3pm, to ensure a timely hair showcase (no exceptions). 
    • If your models are not ready to walk in the hairshow at your designated time, you will forfeit your spot in the showcase. 
    • Only stylists and barbers participating in demo or live styling show style models during the event.
    • The venue is at an indoor, ground and mezzanine floor venue. It is recommended that you prep your station with lighting that does not require electricity.  Lights might be dimmed the last 2-3 hours of the event.
    • If vending, you are responsible for their own display and setup. Displays should not extend outside of the designated space provided. Example: Racks, displays, banners, etc., cannot extend outside of Vendor Space. Fashion vendors with clothing racks, and other large displays please email us to discuss options.

  • Terms and Conditions:

    1. The event will run from 3pm - 10pm.
    2. Vendor set up will begin 1pm.
    3. Vendor set up must be complete by 2pm.
    4. Hair show participants must be on site by 1:30pm for rehersal.
    5. All hair show participants, including locticians, natural hair care professionals, and models, must be on site by 1:30PM SHARP for a walk through, no exceptions.
    6. If you are a hair show participant, your hair model styles must be ready by the start of the event at 3pm, to ensure a timely hair showcase (no exceptions).
    7. If your models are not ready to walk in the hairshow at your designated time, you will forfeit your spot in the showcase.
    8. Only stylists and barbers participating in demo or live styling can style models during the event.
    9. All fees are due no later than Friday, September 19th.
    10. Completion of this application does not guarantee selection. Partipation is based on availablity and space.
    11. Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. CULTURE UNLOC'D LLC dba LOCNIFICENT FEST accepts CERTIFIED/CASHIER’S CHECKS, MONEY ORDERS, CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS, ZELLE, CASH APP, and PAYPAL. 
    12. To have your application considered you must agree that 1) You are the legal owner/ authorized representative on behalf of the business information provided above; 2) You understand that my application will be under review and if selected I will receive additional information; 3) You understand that payments made for this market are non-refundable. If the event is postponed, a rain-date will be provided.
    13. Participation in this above mentioned event is at your own risk. Participants shall hold harmless Culture Unloc'd LLC/LOCnificent Fest and its agents, officers and volunteers from all liability, judgments, suits, costs and actions, including attorneys’ fees and all costs of litigation of every kind and description brought or rendered against Culture Unloc'd LLC/LOCnificent Fest, as a result of sickness, loss, damage, or injury of persons or property by reason of any act of failure to act by its officers, members or volunteers. 
    14. Media Coverage: LOCnificent Fest will be recorded and shared on various public platforms. By agreeing to be a vendor, you permit the usage of any images or video footage taken at LOCnificent Fest.
    15. Vendors and exhibitors are responsible for bringing all items that are required for their booth, including (but not limited to): signs, extension cords, table coverings, promotional materials, a cash float, pens, tape and other stationary items. Chairs and small tables are available upon request.
