We are so excited to receive your application to our next event!
Sydney Ceramics Market brings together a community of talented ceramic artists, potters and makers who are producing locally and by hand, to celebrate the immense ingenuity and diversity in the craft of ceramics.
Heading into our fourth year, we’re excited to be back at Sydney’s historic Carriageworks for another full weekend of ceramic heaven, happening across the following dates:
Bump in/Stallholder set up: Friday 17th October 2025 (time allocated)
Market Days: Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October 2025
Location: Carriageworks, Bays 22-24, 245 Wilson St, Eveleigh NSW, Gadigal Land.
Please ensure you are available to be onsite for all three days.
Sydney Ceramics Market is a major event in Sydney Craft Week Festival 2025.
Application Due Date:
Applications are open until 11:59pm, Sunday 18th May 2025.
Application Criteria:
To be accepted into Sydney Ceramics Market 2025, you must be an independent, established and/or emerging ceramicist, or an established studio group/collective who produces and resides within the state of NSW or within the state of ACT as it is our aim to uplift makers in this region.
Due to the high number of applications we receive, the more effort and information you put into your application the better!
To all our friends and fans from other states, we love your creativity too, and we are working towards expanding our events to welcome applications Australia-wide in the very near future.
For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ceramic Artists:
The practices, knowledge, and creative expressions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are integral to the story of ceramics. Representation in the arts matters deeply, and as organisers of a growing event, we believe it’s our responsibility to actively create space for more voices, more stories, and more opportunities.
To support this, we’re offering 50% off any stall size for First Nations ceramic artists. This is one step toward making our events more accessible and better reflective of the incredible talent and perspectives within our community.
If you have any questions or would like to chat more about the application process, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help. Please reach out by emailing hello@sydneyceramicsmarket.com

Application Tips!
As our event grows, so does the number of applications we receive, so the more effort you put into your application the better.
There are lots of working parts that play into a successful application off the bat, and we look at every online touch point we can of each maker alongside all the details you submit. It is a lengthy process we don't take lightly!
Please fill in every aspect of the application form as best you can.
A major factor that plays into a successful application is the inclusion of high-quality imagery that shows your range of pieces in their best light and helps us fully grasp your style, your technique and the collection likely to be available at the market.
We also encourage you to expand on your bio in the application form. Give us an insight into your ceramics practice, the types of pieces you are motivated to make, and the techniques you like to use.
If you're a returning Stallholder, we would love to see how your work has progressed since participating in any of our past events. New and high-quality imagery will always stands out and excite us!
Notification of your Application Status:
All applicants will be notified of their application status by Friday 30th May 2025.
If accepted as a stallholder, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work to an engaged audience of ceramic lovers and collectors.
Once you have completed your form, please click the Submit button at the bottom of this page. If you do not click this button we may not have received your application.
Mark your calendars for 18th–19th October 2025 and please tell all your friends, family, & followers!
