We are thrilled to invite you to apply for the opportunity to showcase and sell your artwork at this year’s Juneteenth GVL Gala—a prestigious and inspiring event celebrating art, culture, and community. This is an incredible platform for both seasoned and emerging artists, is catered to bringing ambitions individuals who seek to network with impactful organizations, and contribute to a powerful cause. Your art is the lifeline of Cultural Represntation!

Event Details:

🎨 Theme: Empowering Black Men - The importance of the Black Man in society is immeasurable. We aim to capture the virtue of these inspirational men through our art showcase. Whether through the artwork itself or the artists behind it, we aim to honor and celebrate the brilliance, excellence, and strength of Black Men.

Showcase Criteria:

(2)Review Submission
(3)Applicants Zoom Calls (May 5th - May 10th)
(4)Pay Submission Fees (Non-refundable) (Due May 16th)
(5)Art Review Process 

🎨 Artist Requirements:

Showcase 5-6 original pieces + prints* (completed By June 10th)
Canvas sizes: Minimum 10in x 10in | Maximum 36in x 36in
Table Fee: $50 (one-time payment) 
Artist Medium: Open to all forms of visual art (acrylic, oil, watercolor, sculpture, etc.)

*(Need a print company? Upon acceptance, we can provide recommendations!)

🎨 Provided Setup:
Each artist will receive:
(1) 8x2 ft fold-out table with black table cloth
(3) Table easels
(2) Standing easels
Any additional display materials must be provided by the artist

 

As a showcasing artist, you have the capability of bringing your creations into rooms full of like-minded individuals who aim to promote black excellencnce. You are in a room filled with hundreds of individuals who enjoy the expression of community and longevity. This is more than just an exhibition—it’s an opportunity to make an impact, expand your reach, and have your work seen by an engaged audience at one of the most anticipated events of the year. We have 10 tables and we’re so excited to see who fills them!
