  • 1. Your organisation must be a registered charity, a voluntary organisation, academic body or a recognisable and accountable good cause.

    2. The amount of the Grant awarded will be discretionary.

    3. Grants can only be used for the purpose for which they are awarded and should not be used for any other purpose without the approval of the RCBB.

    4. Grants awarded must not be given or transferred to any third party but must be used solely by the organisation to which it was awarded. If the grant is not used for a purpose not outlined in the application, we reserve the right to ask for monies granted by the RCBB to be returned.

    5. If our offer of grant has not been accepted within twelve months of the date of our approval, the grant offer will automatically lapse and be rescinded and you will have to re-apply.

    6. You will take reasonable care to ensure that the project/programme is conducted in a professional, safe and proper manner and in accordance with best practice and current law. In providing funding support the RCBB does not accept any responsibility or liability for the project/programme.

    7. Grants will be paid by a direct transfer upon approval by the RCBB.

    8. Grants are awarded on an individual application basis therefore repeat funding should not be expected or planned on the same project/programme.

    9.Your organisation must start to draw down and spend the grant within 12 months of it being awarded.

    10. The RCBB's contribution to the project/programme must be appropriately acknowledged on promotional media in relation to this project/programme.

    11. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of any grant award, you agree that any photos, video material, social media content can be used by the RCBB in it's activities.

    12. The RCBB retains the right to monitor and audit the project/programme throughout its development and implementation. We reserve the right to revoke any grant offer and to pursue the return of any grant monies if it is found that your organisation has provided false information or has not adhered to the terms and conditions of acceptance.

    13. The RCBB accepts no liability for any actions undertaken by any party in relation to the awarding of any funding or support.

  • 1. All applications are considered on a quarterly basis by the RCBB commencing from the 8 January 2025. 2. Once an application has been received from the secretary and will be forwarded to the Council for consideration at the next meeting. If an application is not successful at this stage, the organisation/group will be notified by email. 3. Upon successful consideration by the Council, the organisation will be invited to attend the Club and present the proposed Grant to the Club who will vote on whether the Grant should be awarded. 4. Once agreed, the Treasurer will liaise with the organisation/group to make payment.
