    Thank you for contacting Community Law Waikato for your legal matter. This email gives you information on the service we will provide you.

    1.   Assigned Legal Assistant and Lawyer
        I am a legal assistant and the main contact for your file. My supervising solicitor is Angela Smith. 
    2.   Terms of engagement
        The terms of engagement tell you the rules we will follow as your lawyers. You can read our terms of engagement here - Terms of Engagement.
     3.   Cost
        Our service is effectively free. You do not have to pay us, but we may seek payment from third parties and will send you an invoice for any costs which are awarded against a third party or agreed to be paid by a third party (for example, ACC in a review hearing). However, the invoice will not be more than the award of costs/agreed costs and the costs will be paid directly to us by the third party.

    You pay for the cost of disbursements (for example courier fees or application fees).

    4.   Authority to Act
        If you have not done so already please follow the link to complete and sign our Authority to Act form.
    5.   What we can do for you
