Open Water Event Registration Form 2025
The following form must be completed by any club/region/group who is organising an open water event under the auspices of Swim Ireland and requires insurance coverage. The form must be completed in full.
For events being run in conjuntion with Leinster Open Sea, this form does NOT need to be completed as Swim Ireland accepts no responsibility or provides no insurance cover for these events.
Events that do not require an indemnity letter, this form must be completed and returned no later than 30 days prior to the event.
For any event that requires an indemnity letter, this form must be submitted 45 days prior to the event taking place.
For any event that requires an indemnity letter and paperwork to be reviewed by insurers, such as event bookings, permission letters, insurance documents, this form must be submitted 60 days prior to the event taking place.
