    We need lots of help! No need to be an artist!
  • With more people more activities happen! Help with one or take one role for a couple events for a couple of months. We will send more information to you about the things you are interested in. 
    You do not have to be a resident of Chelmsford to volunteer!

    Shows
    4th of July Art Festival Chelmsford Center for the Arts 
    This is our biggest event with about 100 artists and 1,000 visitors. Set up starts the last week of June with events until the 4th of July. See Orientation & Schedule

    Summer (July 5th - Aug 2nd) & Winter Show Library (Nov 22nd - Jan 24th)
    Both have about 40 artists, reception(s) and lots of visitors. Library Show Set Up

    Programs: 
    Fine Art Demonstrations, Workshops, Group Trip to Art Museum, etc.

    Projects: 
    Donation Drive, Raffle Baskets, Membership Drive, Grants, etc.

    Scholarship: We give an annual scholarship to a graduating high school student and/or college student. 2024 Winners: Herin Lee & Flow Caron

    So many opportunities to take on tasks, a Committee or even a Board Position!

  • When Can you Help?

    Everyone has a lot going on, life, work, family, school, sports, etc. You may be out of town over the 4th of July or prefer to help during the day. Please indicate when you are or if it's easier when you aren't available
  • What kind help do to you like do?

    We would love to match you to something you’re good at / want to do! Please indicate your work, volunteer and/or community service experience, skills or areas of expertise. 
  • Events

    Many of our tasks apply to all our events so let us know events you are interested in / available for. Choose to help with one event or more.
  • Projects & Tasks

    Tasks can be for one event or several. Take something to lead or be part of a team.
  • Scholarship

    We can do so much more to encourage and support the next generation of artists with more people!

    For those who want to do more we have lots of choices. The Board needs dedicated help to manage and coordinate all the activities. Committees need staff and a chair to coordinate activities. Board: President, Co President, Treasurer, Secretary - Committees: Publicity/Marketing, Membership, Fundraising, Website,  Programs, Fundraising, Hospitality, Shows
