Millions of people living in isolation have little access to medical care, clean water, education, disaster relief and basic human needs - simply because it is too dangerous or time-consuming to reach them. Why do you think it's important to overcome these barriers of isolation?
I believe any community, however remote, should have access to the essentials for life, and I want to be part of making that possible.
I think that overcoming barriers of isolation will give people more opportunities for the future.
Having personally lived in a remote location, I have seen first-hand how challenging it is to have little access to basic human needs.
I want everyone to have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus.

One of our priority projects is to ensure that all 117 MAF planes are fuelled across the year. A jerrycan will fuel a MAF aircraft for up to 20 minutes of flying time, replacing days of travel on foot and saving many lives. Could you tell us why you would support this project?
I understand how critical fuel is for MAF to operate.
When planes are grounded, people are stuck, and communities go without essential needs.
When it comes to reaching the most isolated people, MAF has the best tools for the job, and I want to play my part in keeping planes flying.
I believe MAF flights are a lifeline for remote communities, and I want to keep them running.

An important area of MAF's work is to provide medevac flights for pregnant mums and newborn babies, who don't have access to proper health care. Could you tell us about what might motivate you in this area?
I can't imagine how scary and hard it would be to go through the birthing process alone, without proper medical attention.
I have seen how important health care is for the wellbeing and safety of both mums and babies at that crucial time.
I have special children in my life, and believe that each child deserves the best health care possible.
I am motivated more by other critical areas of MAF's work.

When disaster strikes, speed is essential. Whether it's a natural disaster, medical epidemic, conflict or famine, MAF's Disaster Response Team are ready to deploy whenever and wherever they're needed, to assist a swift response and help save lives. Why would disaster response be important to you?
I have seen first-hand the devastation that a disaster can have on a community.
It's important to me that all people have access to help during a crisis.
I can't imagine how scary it would be going through a disaster without any emergency assistance and don't want that for anyone.
I am motivated more by other critical areas of MAF's work.

Bequests left to Mission Aviation Fellowship by people in their Wills are of enormous benefit to help the most isolated people. Many people like to leave a gift in their Will or Trust to MAF. Have you included a gift to MAF in your Will?
Yes, I already have included MAF in my Will.
I intend to include MAF when I update my Will.
I would consider this type of gift and would like more information.
I have written a Will but not included a charity.
I do not have a Will.
It's not something I'm interested in right now, but thank you.

Monthly gifts help us budget and plan for our long-term work in reaching isolated people around the world. Would you join our special group of monthly supporters by considering this type of gift?
I'm already a MAF monthly giver!
Yes, I am interested in making monthly gifts - please contact me.
Maybe, but I'd like some more information before deciding.
Not right now, thank you.
