As the next step, we invite you to proceed with the application process. Before filling out the Application Form, we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to carefully review the guidelines below to ensure you meet all requirements and submit a complete application.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS & COVERAGE

1. What are the benefits and coverage of STEM College Scholarship?
- Fixed annual financial grant up to Php 120,000 to subsidize tuition and other fees (Subject to terms and conditions of scholarship agreement)
- Access to scholar development programs
- Internship opportunity in the Gokongwei Group
- Employment opportunity in the Gokongwei Group (Subject to company vacancy and passing of all pre-employment requirements)
2. Is On-the-Job Training included in STEM College Scholarship?
- Yes, an internship opportunity in a Gokongwei group company is one of the program benefits.
3. Is employment after graduation a benefit of the scholarship program?
- Yes, an opportunity to work in the Gokongwei group is part of the design of the program. The scholars are required to work in the partner business unit equivalent to 1 year for every year the scholar has been a recipient of the program (maximum of 2 years only).
4. Is this applicable to a second degree in college?
- No, this only applies to a student’s first bachelor’s degree.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Is there a minimum GWA required to apply?
- One of the eligibility requirements is to have at least a GWA of 2.0 or 85%
2. Can those with failed grades in college / high school still apply?
- No, all applicants must have no failed, dropped, or incomplete subject/s for the entirety of their college/high school years.
3. Can I apply if I already have an existing scholarship from another institution or company?
- For applicants with other scholarships, the application is subject to evaluation. Qualified candidates who do not have any other scholarships are usually prioritized.
4. I am not enrolled yet or I do not have a school yet. Can I still apply?
- Yes, instead of the certificate for registration, you will be required to submit your proof of application to at least one university (see the documentary requirements section for the template).
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

What are the requirements needed to apply for GBF STEM College Scholarship?

1. Proof of Academic Standing
🔳 For Incoming College Students:
▫ Certified True Copy of Grades – Grade 12 Report Card
▫ Notice of Admission or Proof of University Application for AY 2025-2026

🔳 For Continuing College Students (2nd year and above):
▫ Certified True Copy of Grades – 1st Term AY 2024-2025 (Signed/Certified portal-generated grades are accepted)
▫ Registration Form – 2nd/3rd Term AY 2024-2025

2. Proof of Annual Household Income (Submit any of the following documents)
🔳 If parent(s) are employed (private/public sector) or self-employed:
▫ Recently filed 2024 Annual Income Tax Return (ITR): Form 2303 (employed) or Form 1701 (self-employed)
▫ Certificate of Employment with Salary (dated 2025) for the parent contributing to household income
▫ Employment Contract with Salary (for Overseas Filipino Workers - OFWs)
▫ Screenshot of January-March 2025 income (for self-employed individuals in ride-hailing services like Grab/Lalamove)

🔳 If the family's income depends on a senior parent’s pension:
▫ Proof of Pension

🔳 If the parent(s) do not have a regular source of income and are exempt from filing taxes:
▫ BIR Tax Exemption Certificate (To be submitted later upon successful application.)

3. Proof of Billing
▫ Electricity or Water Bill matching the declared address of residence (dated 2025)

4. Recommender's email address (Must not be from immediate family members or relatives)
▫ Guidance Counselor
▫ One (1) from any of the following: Adviser, Professor, Principal, School Head, or College Dean
