    Use this form to provide all necessary details to SQ, so we can setup your fees on your behalf.

  • This online form is for clubs to use to help calculate their club membership fees, and submit them to SQ for creation in Swim Central on your Club's behalf.

  • KEY MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

    Swimming Australia has made changes to its membership structure and offerings for 25/26. As a result, Swimming Queensland has also made corresponding adjustments.

    We are pleased to advise that the below membership categories will be applicable for the 25/26 season.

    KEY UPDATES

    • Six-Month Membership Offering: From 1 January, SQ will offer a 6-month membership at a reduced rate (replacing the previous discount from 30 March). Clubs are encouraged to adopt this option, which includes reduced SAL and SQ components. Clubs using this membership may charge no more than 75% of their full-year membership fee for this category.
    • Membership Pricing Structure: Clubs must either use a single flat fee or tiered pricing based on membership type. The hierarchy is: Competitive Swimmer > Junior Swimmer > Recreational Swimmer, with Late Season Swimmer priced no higher than 75% of the Competitive Swimmer fee.
    • Committee Member Requirement: All Committee members must be registered members of their Club. If not registered as a Coach or Accredited Technical Official, they must register under the Parent/Supporter category (which remains free from both SQ and SAL).
    • Coach Membership Fee: Swimming Australia has requested that State Coach Membership fees not exceed $10. SQ has adopted this recommendation, and we encourage clubs to apply a minimal fee, if any (most are currently free).

    MEMBERSHIP DEFINITIONS
    Competitive Swimmer
    Can compete in: Club, Region, State, Interstate, National and International
    A competitive membership for swimmers aged 8&O, encompassing all competition tiers from Club meets through to National Championships, including Regional, State, and Interstate events.

    Late Season Swimmer
    Can compete in: Club, Region, Interstate and State
    A 6-month competitive membership beginning January 1st, for swimmers aged 8&O encompassing competition tiers from Club meets through to State Championships, including Regional, State, and Interstate events

    Junior Swimmer
    Can compete in: Club and Region
    A junior competitive membership for swimmers aged 9&U to begin their competitive journey through participation in Club and Regional events within Queensland.

    Recreational Swimmer
    Can compete in: Club Only
    A membership for swimmers who only participate within their club’s environment (e.g. training and club nights).

    Second Claim Swimmer
    Can compete in: Club Only
    A secondary membership allowing current Competitive Swimmers to join an additional club, with participation limited to the club environment (e.g. training and club nights). Valid only with 25/26 Competitive membership.

    Come 'n Try Swimmer
    Can compete in: Club Only
    A 30-day trial membership for new swimmers to experience intra-club activities (e.g. training and club nights). Automatically expires after 30 days.

    Licenced Coach
    A membership for coaches.

    Accredited Technical Official
    A mandatory membership for accredited technical officials to fulfil their essential meet duties and receive support through Region, State or National bodies.

    Parent / Supporter
    A free membership for parents / supporters.  Mandatory for committee members.

  • Please keep in mind that if your Club is registered for GST, you need to ensure that you list your Club fee excluding GST (as Swim Central will add GST to the amount entered).

    Please also ensure that you only include your Club's fee (as the Region, State and National fees are already set below and in Swim Central.

  • Early Bird or Late Joiner Style Discounts

    These types of discounts enable your Club to offer a fixed dollar or percentage discount for a specified period. For example, an early bird discount could be applied to purchases made within a certain date range. Discounts are set at the individual category level and do not need to be applied to all categories.

    For those members who join from 1 January, and only wish to compete at Club, Regional, State and interstate events (not National events), SQ recommends that clubs take advantage of the new Late Swimmer Membership, in addition to discounting the other memberships at the end of the season.

  • Volume Discounts

    Volume discounts are discounts (as a percentage) that can be applied, when a certain number of membership products are purchased in one transaction.

    For example. Your Club could choose to offer a 2% discount, when 3 membership products are purchased in the one transaction.

    This type of discount allows clubs to discount families, however clubs are not required to offer volume discounts. Families of 3 or more paying members will recieve volume discounts regardless, as SQ offer volume discounts for 3 or more memberships purchased in one transaction.

    Please note, a free membership category is not eligible to contribute to volume discounts. For Example. to qualify for a volume discount with SQ, families would need 3 x paying memberships (e.g. swimming memberships).
