2025 Feminist Mindset Revolution Fund Application: Society Symposium June 2025 Logo
  • ✨ Society Symposium 2025 – Scholarship Application

We’re thrilled to open scholarship applications for our Society Symposium In-Person Event, happening Friday, June 27–Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri.
  • The Feminist Mindset Revolution Fund was founded to make Society Symposium and The School of New Feminist Thought’s advanced trainings more accessible. Each grant cycle honors a different feminist thinker, activist, or trailblazer whose work has reshaped how we understand power, knowledge, and equity.

This year, we are thrilled to offer a limited number of scholarships to Society Symposium in St. Louis, Missouri, June 27–29, in honor of Emma Hart Willard.

Emma Hart Willard (1787–1870) was a pioneering educator and advocate for women’s rights, best known for her work in expanding women’s access to higher education. At a time when women were largely excluded from advanced learning, she founded the Troy Female Seminary in 1821 — the first school in the United States to offer young women an education on par with men. A firm believer in the power of knowledge to create social change, Willard’s advocacy laid the foundation for future generations of feminist thinkers and leaders, ensuring that women’s intellectual and professional aspirations could no longer be ignored.

Here’s how the grants work: You may request a grant amount of up to $1,799 toward the full event price of $4,499, which includes your hotel stay.

Please carefully consider your financial needs when requesting a grant, as funds are limited. The more accurately you can identify the minimum amount needed to make your participation possible, the more people can receive support.

When you submit your application, please carefully review the participation requirements for scholarship recipients.

You will be notified by email if your application is accepted. If awarded a grant, you will have 72 hours to pay the remaining balance of your Society Symposium tuition — either in full or as the first of several installments.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You will receive a response within 48-hours.

Important: If you do not receive a grant, a full-tuition spot at Society Symposium will likely no longer be available by that time, as these events typically sell out within three days. If attending is a priority and you are able to enroll at full tuition, we strongly recommend doing so to secure your spot. This scholarship is intended for those who would not be able to attend otherwise.

We look forward to reviewing your application and honoring Emma Hart Willard’s legacy by making this transformative work more accessible.
