The Lycée French Market (LFM) Committee is happy to announce that we will be hosting our 21st Annual Lycée French Market in November 2025!

For an entire weekend, the LFC campus transforms into a bustling Parisian Marché where many local and French artisans sell decorative arts, fine wares, woodwork, home décor, jewelry, apparel, accessories, gourmet food, wine and beer tastings, and more. The highlight of the weekend is our authentic French Bistrot with all food lovingly prepared by our parent chefs!

Event sponsors and vendors benefit from a broad promotional reach. Last year our market received 4,000 guests over the weekend from across Chicagoland.

This annual celebratory event is hosted by the Parent Association, on behalf of Chicago’s premier international school, the Lycée Français de Chicago (LFC). The LFM represents an important community-building event for our 500 families, sponsors and the Ravenswood/Lincoln Square neighborhood. Vendors benefit from a broad outreach to our neighborhood communities and the LFM supports teacher development, classroom enhancements, student life and need-based financial aid for the school. At the market’s close, sponsors will receive acknowledgment letters for their donations and recognition in our annual report.

The Lycée Français de Chicago provides its students with a rigorous bilingual education in a dynamic and welcoming multicultural community. First founded in 1995 by a small group of French and American families, the Lycée began as an international school of fewer than 150 students. Thirty years later, our community has grown dramatically to 745 students, attracting families from around the world who share the value of an academically challenging and culturally diverse education.

All sponsorships and underwriting are tax-deductible; the Lycée is a 501(c)(3) organization, tax ID # 36-4002001. To assure recognition on our LFM website and promotional materials for your sponsorship level, donation forms must be received by October 17, 2025.

Platinum Sponsor: $5,000
- Naming rights as a presenting sponsor: The Lycée French Market presented by (Company Name)
- Four tickets to market days
- Banner ad presence on LFM website

Gold Sponsor: $2,500
- Company logo on promotional emails
- Company-provided promotional item added to all ticket package purchases

Silver Sponsor: $1,000
- Company-provided ad presence on LFM website
- Name recognition on LFC social media channels

Bronze Sponsor: $500
- Inclusion of logo linked to company website on the sponsor page of the LFM website
- Logo displayed on “Thank You To Our Sponsors” signs at the Market

- Name mentioned on the sponsor page of the LFM website
Underwriting: At any amount
- Contributions defray specific costs associated with LFM. Underwriting opportunities are:
  - Bistro Ingredients
  - Musical Entertainment
  - Bistro, both days (Request 2 underwriters @ $2000 each)
  - Printing of all collateral materials
  - Vendor breakfast during check-in
  - Post-event vendor wine and cheese
  - Market Poster designed by Yann Legendre, internationally recognized illustrator, designer, art director (Request 2 underwriters @ $1500 each)

In Kind Donation
In-Kind Donation

If your in-kind donation is valued at $500 or more, we will recognize you with benefits similar to those for sponsors and underwriters. Others will be listed in a thank-you section of the LFM website.

We will mail you a tax receipt for your records. Please note that the tax receipt will not include a value for the donated items, as the valuation of gifts in kind are the privilege and responsibility of the donor. Per IRS regulations, any item you value over $500 requires IRS Form 8283.

Contributions are deductible for income tax purposes to the extent allowable by law. All in-kind donations are tax-deductible; the Lycée is a 501(c)(3) organization, tax ID # 36-4002001.

In-Kind Donation Guidelines
Recognition benefits will be calculated at 75% of the predetermined fair-market value.
- Calculated Fair-Market Value, up to $99: Name mentioned on the sponsor page of the LFM website
- Calculated Fair-Market Value, between $100 and $349: Inclusion of logo linked to company website on the sponsor page of the LFM website
- Calculated Fair-Market Value, between $350 and $499: Recognition on LFC social media channels
- Calculated Fair-Market Value, between $500 and $999: Company logo on all promotional materials (eblasts, community newsletters, social)
- Calculated Fair-Market Value, between $1,000 and above: Naming rights as a presenting sponsor: The Lycée French Market presented by (Company Name)
