  • The Chapter Annual Report (CAR) shows you what you have done and leaves a good record for the next chapter leaders for the coming year. This report also includes Collegiate Award Applications for Gold Torch, Inclusive Excellence,  Project Excellence, and Outstanding Achievement. Chapters looking to apply for Ruth Weimer Mount Chapter Excellence, Freeman & Fox Most Improved Chapter, Excellence in Advising, or Starlington Prize should complete the applications on the Awards webpage. To be eligible for all collegiate awards, your chapter must complete the Chapter Annual Report by the May 15 deadline.

The Chapter Annual Report is due May 15 for all semester schools and quarter schools applying for awards. If a quarter school is not applying for awards, the report is due June 1. The Chapter Annual Report is mandatory for all chapters.

This report will help next year's leaders plan their year; please be as thorough as possible. Work collaboratively with your chapter leadership to submit one Chapter Annual Report; the report may be submitted by an advisor or chapter officer. A separate advisor report has been created to better gauge the advisor experience; that link is available on the Reports webpage and is also linked to the confirmation message of this report.

Before completing the Chapter Annual Report, it will be helpful to have your chapters' most recent Chapter Action Plan (CAP), which you completed in the fall, as well as financial information, historical data, and selection information.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Trish Maxwell (tmaxwell@mortarboard.org).
