The Oak St Quick Build Project will go in front of the SFMTA Board for a final vote on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The proposal includes adding a bike lane from Stanyan St to Baker St, removing an automobile lane (except for between Ashbury and Masonic), painted safety zones for daylighting and shortened crosswalk distances.
The Oak St Quick Build project will cost $1.3M of our hard earned taxpayer dollars. While at the same time increasing traffic congestion on a main artery that takes San Francisco residents to get from West to East on a daily basis.
By sending a note here today, your voice will be heard by the SFMTA Board and the Board of Supervisors. We urge you to participate and send the message below, so they understand the importance of not eliminating more automobile lanes!
