Weapons Policy

Individuals are prohibited from carrying a weapon during the course of service at Street Reach Ministries. Weapons are strictly prohibited on all property including parking lots, dorm areas, morning and afternoon project sites. This applies even if an individual is licensed to carry a handgun. Prohibited weapons include any form of weapon or explosive restricted under local, state or federal regulation. This includes all firearms, illegal knives or other weapons covered by the law. (Legal, chemical-dispensing devices such as pepper sprays that are sold commercially for personal protection are not covered by this policy.) This policy applies to all volunteers; staff; associates; contract and temporary associates; and, visitors on Street Reach property or property associated with Street Reach Ministries.

Background Check Policy

You or your church are responsible for a child protection policy. This would include conducting background checks on any adults on the trip, as well as establishing guidelines and policies to ensure the safety of any students or minors. Anyone 18 years of age and older is considered an adult.

If your church does not already have a service or company they use to run background checks, a company we us is ProtectMyMinistry to run background checks on our staff. In addition to providing background checks, they have training videos and materials for further education on protection.

Assumption of Risk Form

Every individual, student and adult, are required to sign an assumption or risk form to participate with Street Reach Ministries. To view and download the updated Assumption of Risk form, please click here.

To complete registration, please select how you will be paying the $100 application fee. This is a one-time payment for the whole group, not per participant.
