  • ⚠️ MUST READ
    — PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR REQUEST

We aim to set clear expectations and provide transparent information about the enhancement process. Before submitting your request, please read and agree to the following:

    1. Tattoo Enhancement

We want to ensure you have a realistic understanding of the outcome. While our artist will do their best to enhance the black tones and blend or soften the bolder areas of your existing tattoo, achieving 100% coverage is NOT possible. The black may appear lighter, with coverage typically reaching around 50–70%, depending on the original darkness of the tattoo. In most cases, this is the maximum level of improvement that can be achieved.

Please also note that the result will not remain as clean or sharp as it appears immediately after the session — this is a natural part of the skin’s healing process, as the surface regenerates and the pigment settles beneath. Some areas may heal unevenly or appear slightly patchy, especially when covering an older tattoo. These variations are normal and not fully controllable.

    2. Touch-Up Requirements

Depending on the healing process, additional touch-up sessions may be required. Touch-up pricing varies based on the tattoo’s size, placement, and condition, but all details will be clearly outlined in your quote. The artist will assess the healing progress and provide guidance accordingly.

For darker or heavily saturated tattoos, layering across multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve better blending or coverage. Because every skin type and existing tattoo condition is unique, results cannot be precisely predicted or guaranteed.

In general, a touch-up is recommended every 2–3 years, as white ink fades faster than black. This timeline can vary depending on sun exposure, skin type, and lifestyle habits.

Please understand that this is part of the normal tattoo process — results vary between individuals, and slight fading or uneven healing does not indicate a fault in the work.

    3. Design Delicacy

We want to set the right expectations regarding the revamping process. While our artist will follow the existing design and refine it to appear more delicate, an exact replica of the original tattoo cannot be guaranteed. Some adjustments may be needed to achieve better balance, flow, or coverage. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this process.

    4. Retention

Proper aftercare is essential for maintaining your tattoo’s long-term quality. Please follow all provided instructions carefully — especially moisturizing and consistent sunscreen application. Always follow the specific directions on your sunscreen product, as some formulas require reapplication every 2–3 hours.

Neglecting aftercare, allowing skin to dry out, or prolonged UV exposure can cause fading, patchiness, or the original tattoo to re-emerge as the top pigment layer settles. Healthy skin and proper protection are the keys to strong, lasting retention.

  • Please continue and provide as much detail as possible. Note that any new tattoo must be fully healed before further work can be done — a minimum healing period of 6 weeks is required.
