This class focuses on developing vocal technique, musical expression, and group singing skills in a supportive and engaging setting. Students will learn proper breathing, pitch control, and harmonization while exploring a variety of musical styles. With a small class size of up to six students, each singer gets the opportunity to build confidence and improve their performance skills. Whether they are new to singing or seeking to enhance their vocal abilities, this class helps young vocalists develop their voices while enjoying the experience of making music together.
By the end of this class, your child will have developed improved breath control, pitch accuracy, and confidence, while experiencing the joy of group performance.
1-Learn breathing exercises and posture basics for healthy singing, paired with simple body rhythm warm-ups.
2-Practice pitch-matching and warm-up scales, introducing sight-reading of basic solfege patterns.
3-Explore dynamics (soft/loud) and expression through playful singing games and ukulele-accompanied exercises.
4-Introduce part-singing with rounds and simple harmonies, supported by ukulele chords.
5-Rehearse a short song with focus on diction, phrasing, and group blend, incorporating ukulele strumming and sight-reading practice.
6-Share a final group performance for families that highlights teamwork, vocal growth, ukulele accompaniment, and emerging sight-reading skills.
