By becoming a member of the Fort Connah Restoration Society, you will join a unique Montanan community where, for 50 years, neighbors have been coming togehter to restore original buildings from the fur trade and Montana's frontier periods. We are family oriented, so participating in re-enactments, living history demonstrations, folklore, and fur trading activities is fun for you and your family.

Individual Membership($10.00 one-time payment)

Annual membership for one person; a lone wolf.

Family Membership($25.00 one-time payment)

Annual membership for the whole family or pack.

Trapper Level($50.00 one-time payment)

"Fur trappers" were adventurous and skilled frontiers men who trapped wild game for their furs.

Voyageur Level($100.00 one-time payment)

In the 18th-19th Century, "voyageurs" were the French and French Canadians who moved furs via canoe. The voyageurs were the crew hired to man the canoes that transported furs and other trading supplies to the various rendezvous or trading locations.

Trader($250.00 one-time payment)

"Trader" refers to anyone involved in the buying, selling, trading, or dealing of skins or pelts. Some famous fur traders (and firms) include: John Jacob Astor, Manuel Lisa, and William H Ashley.
