About the award:

Any broadcast or print journalist covering agriculture in Kansas may submit one bylined/credited work in each category published or broadcast between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025. (Entire newsletter, periodical, blog or websites are ineligible.)

Entries will be judged by Kansas Farm Bureau staff and members.

Deadline to submit applications is Friday, June 13, 2025, and winners will be announced at Kansas Farm Bureau’s annual meeting in December.

Prizes are $200 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third in each category.
