The Red Shoes is a non-profit center for personal and spiritual growth committed to supporting women on their life’s journey. We celebrate, empower and nurture women and offer a space to explore and develop their inner life. We provide a place of healing by focusing on what we hold in common rather than what divides us.

The Ambassador Program is a volunteer initiative that supports The Red Shoes in several key areas. Volunteers serve as an extension of our mission—offering time, presence, and practical support to help our programs and space thrive.

We’re looking for volunteers to lend their time and talents in the following areas:

Admin & Building Upkeep

Light cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, windows)
Gardening/landscaping (watering plants, weeding, etc.)
Minor maintenance (restocking bathrooms, organizing storage)
Data entry for program development and donor engagement

Community Fridge Support

Clean and organize the community fridge weekly
Connect with local businesses to arrange food donations
Assist with pick-up or drop-off of donations
Monitor inventory and report any issues

Outreach Assistance

Help table at community events
Distribute flyers around town and talk about our mission and programs
Set up and break down materials at outreach events
Be a warm, friendly presence representing The Red Shoes

Program Support

Arrive early to help with setup for workshops and events*
Assist with audio-visual set-up and tech set-up as needed
Welcome participants, assist with check-in
Restock refreshments or materials as needed
Stay to help tidy up after events
Help prepare the space for special events or seasons

*Please note that when you volunteer for check-in and set-up/take-down for a program you are able to attend a program at no cost.

Whether you can commit weekly or occasionally, your time and energy are deeply valued. No task is too small—each act of service supports our vibrant circle.
