    L.A. GOAL and Inside Out Productions (IOP) are grateful to partner with Helms Design Center to host Junktion, an Integrated Art Show that celebrates innovation and sustainability in artmaking. We believe in the power of the arts to transform lives and proudly host the exhibition that highlights artists of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds.

    Submission Terms & Requirements

    • Eligibility: Open to artists aged 18+ residing in Los Angeles County. We welcome a variety of artistic styles and interpretations of the theme.
      Eligible media include both 2D and 3D works, such as painting, collage, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, photography, and works incorporating found objects or upcycled materials.
    • Restrictions: Artwork containing profanity, political content, or potential copyright violations will not be considered.
    • Artwork Guidelines:
      2D works: Maximum size 24” x 24” (including frame).
      3D sculptures & ceramics: Maximum size 24” x 24” x 24”.
      All artwork must be ready for display:
      2D works must be wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers).
      Works on canvas do not need to be framed but must be wired.
      3D pieces should be stable and require no additional framing.
    • Submission Limit: Maximum 2 pieces per artist. Not all submissions are guaranteed acceptance, but we encourage all eligible artists to apply.
    • Sales & Pricing:
      • All submitted works must be available for sale during the exhibition.
      • Artists may submit up to two pieces for a $10 submission fee.
      • 30% of each sale will be donated to L.A. GOAL/Inside Out Productions. This tax-deductible donation directly supports the Inside Out Productions Studio and the employment of artists with developmental disabilities. If your piece sells, you will receive a tax letter along with a check for 70% of the sale price.
      • Artwork priced under $400 tends to sell well, so we recommend keeping prices within this range to encourage sales.
