FCA Statement of Cooperation
In Making an application to [Faith Christian Academy] (hereinafter referred to as the “School”), I understand that:
1. It is my responsibility as a parent/guardian to pay tuition on the current financial information sheet. I understand that no records will be released until all bills are current. I also understand that assessments will be made to cover lost or damaged school property.
2. The fees and tuition do not cover the actual cost of education my child, therefore, my participation is needed in prayer and service in order to share in this training.
3. The administration of the School has the final responsibility for the grade placement of my child.
4. In order for my child to derive the maximum benefit from his education, I may sometimes need to work with him/her at home if he/she experiences difficulties in mastering material.
5. The teacher and the administration are hereby given full discretion in the discipline of my child. This would include the issuing of detention, suspension, and expulsion.
6. I am expected to support the standards of the School at home. Should there be any questions, we will contact the teacher or administrator to schedule a conference. If the problem cannot be remedied, we agree to quietly withdraw our child from school rather than encourage discord or unrest among other parents.
7. The School reserves the right to dismiss any student who is found to be out of harmony with the rules, policies, or spirit of the School.
8. My child is to take part in all required School activities, including School-sponsored trips away from the school premises. I absolve the School from liability to me or my child at School or School activities. In case of accident or serious illness, I request the School call my selected physician and follow his/her instructions. If it is impossible to contact the physician, [Faith Christian Academy] may take whatever arrangements it deems necessary.
9. I understand that I am enrolling my child in a Christian educational institution for the purpose of having my child trained in the Christian faith and a Biblical worldview. I agree with the School’s statement of faith and commit that my child shall behave with a Biblical ethic while enrolled in the School. I further agree that the relationship between me, my child, and the School shall be governed by a Biblical worldview.
10. I believe that God created human beings in His image in two sexual kinds—male and female (Gen. 1:26-27). Gender is a part of God’s good creation and is bound to its roots as biological reality. It is identifiable at birth and is evident in the course of everyday live in the expressions of masculinity and femininity.
11. I believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and woman. Therefore, any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexual conduct, bisexual conduct, any use of pornography, or any attempt to change one’s sex, is against the design of God and is therefore sin.
